As a result, regarding the "Overtime Limit Regulations" starting in fiscal 2024, less than 10% of respondents said they "know about it and can explain it to others," while about half answered "I don't know." In terms of business digitalization, the most common method of document exchange was "paper" at about 30%, followed by "Excel or spreadsheets" at about 20%. About 30% of sales representatives reported spending more than three hours a day on "traveling for document exchanges," revealing wasted time caused by "paper." Construction IT journalist Ryuta Ieiri stated that by eliminating the three wastes of "wasted travel," "wasted effort," and "wasted time searching for items," construction DX can be further promoted.
